I have long been intrigued by this subtle form of retraining the nervous system, which I currently recommend to patients whose movement has been restricted by injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, fibromyalgia, or chronic pain. I find it to be much more useful than standard physical therapy. I also believe that the Feldenkrais Method can help older people achieve greater range of motion, flexibility, and help us all feel more comfortable in our bodies.

Every moment we are upright, considerable force is transmitted up through our knees and ankles. When they are well organized in relationship to the rest of the body, the pressure is absorbed easily. But if your knees and ankles are poorly organized, shearing forces can cause damage and inflammation, exacerbate symptoms of arthritis and make you more vulnerable to having orthopedic problems. This workshop with Feldenkrais Institute co-founder Marek Wyszynski is designed to help you restore the strength, flexibility and dependability of your knees and ankles, and help to prevent damage from occurring in the future.

Feldenkrais starts your whole life moving in new directions, with new choices on every level of your life. You must experience it. Feldenkrais has had a tremendous impact on my life. It has taught me to really listen to myself. I now know I need not stay stuck in pain. It has helped me see that I have choices, that my patterns of movement, my patterns of emotional "sludge" can change.
